Sheep Creek and 1859 Oregon’s Magazine

Looking for some unique gifts this season? Check out latest issue of 1859 Oregon’s Magazine for a great holiday gift guide featuring Sheep Creek Needlecraft’s Safari Mobile! It’s pretty incredible what this little state produces; from olive oil and wool bunny slippers to skateboards, climbing gear and play TeePee’s. There’s truly something for everyone. Proud to be included alongside such talented Oregonians.

Open!

It’s time!

Sheep Creek is open for business again so feel free to stop on by!

I’ll be taking it slow at first to leave room for the not-so-scheduled nuances that come with a baby. Starting back in, I’ll be asking for 8 weeks for each mobile so please do plan ahead. I look forward to working with you!

Workin’ it in Santa’s Shop

I’m excited to announce that Sheep Creek Needlecraft will be one of the vendors at the very first Santa’s Workshop at The Oregon Garden in Silverton, Oregon!

Santa’s Workshop will be held from November 30th through December 2nd.

I’ll be showing some of my nativities, mobiles, and critters… Rumor has it that Santa will be dropping by with two of his reindeer for a photo op on the way back to the North Pole for his final Christmas preparations. Hope to see some of you there!

Can’t Stop (felting). Won’t Stop (felting).

Answer:  Moving to a new home, summer camping, a full slate of orders, three weeks in Belgium and Spain… (WHEW!)
Question:  Why hasn’t this blog been updated since June 25?

I’ll be adding new posts to my blog in the next couple days. There are so many fun projects that I’ve been privileged to work on in the last couple months that I want to share. There are also a couple really cool things that I have in the works… Stay tuned!

When Dogs Fly?

Here is a really fun little project I just completed. This custom order featuring three “flying dogs” was inspired by the lovely “Liam the Brave” crib bedding. It includes two flying dogs modeled after pets and one rendition of the dog in the illustration.
